  2. Three Challenges Challenge 1 Create a vision wherein the PCT is viewed as an important part of the patent process to aid applicants wishing to internationalize their inventions.

  3. Three Challenges Challenge 2 To significantly improve the quality and usability of the PCT search reports, written opinions and preliminary examination reports for national examinations in the US and abroad.

  4. Three Challenges Challenge 3 To use the PCT to help the USPTO reduce its backlog.
