  2. Citizen-Centric Reporting Program offered by the Association of Government Accountants (AGA). Report designed to give useful information to citizens in a way they can understand. Provide better transparency to our citizenry.

  3. Report Content Guidelines 4-page report criteria: Short, precise, and easy to read for citizens. Page 1 – Strategic Objectives Per capita income Number of government workers Unemployment People and/or firms coming and going

  4. Report Content Guidelines Page 2 – Performance Measures – How are we Doing? Benchmarks on services provided to citizens. Public Safety calls, response time, road conditions, parks and recreation usage, etc. Include Statement about citizen input.

Report Content Guidelines • Page 3 – Financial Measures • What are the costs for servicing citizens and how are those costs paid for? • Current year and prior year comparisons. • Include revenue and cost data for major areas. • Include statement that independent audit was conducted and reference to website for complete information.

  6. Page 4 – Future Challenges/Projects • Include items specific to your community. • Infrastructure items. • Calendar of events – optional. • Ask citizens what they would like to see in the report. Report Content Guidelines
