  3. •When people started having more nationalism for their country they wanted to spread their ways to smaller, more “uncivilized” countries. • We and other countries thought that the smaller, third-world countries did not know how to make things or revolutionize their country. How rising nationalism led to Age of Imperialism A third-world country Uncivilized man

  4. •What they taught these other people were their countries beliefs, traditions, and customs. •The British taught them the ways they dressed and almost forced them to take over all of their customs. What we taught other countries British flag A cup of tea

Rising sense of Nationalism People started standing up for their country more Citizens wanted the best for their country Military acted on demands of the citizens They had an urge to spread their nationalism to other countries that weren't industrialized and were thought of as uncivilized countries Countries started taking over the “third-world” countries to where they had the same beliefs as that country that took them over did

  12. Summary • Nationalism and imperialism lead to each other when one country was trying to spread a culture to another country or when ones country was over dominance. Countries were trying to spread believes and taking power to control other land one country tries to help another country, because they think what they have could help one another.
