  2. Objectives: • Students will be able to... • Recite paragraph two of The FFA Creed in front of the class with 100% accuracy. • Connect your lives with the meaning from paragraph 3 of The Creed.

  3. Today is the Day! • Everyone should be prepared to say paragraph 2 of The Creed! • Remember the speaking techniques we discussed last class: Eye Contact Confidence and Enthusiasm Inflection Volume Tempo

  4. Creed Grading • Each Paragraph will be worth 30 points. • 20 points will be for accuracy of reciting the creed. • 5 points will be for Inflection, Volume, and Tempo of speaking. • 5 points will be for the response to the questions given in class last time.

  5. Class Assignment • Using the Student Handbook and read the section about E.M. Tiffany (p.31) • Distribute Creed - HO6 • Complete the questions, and then we will discuss some of your answers in class. • Turn in worksheet before you leave class.

  6. 3rd paragraph of the creed I believe in leadership from ourselves and respect from others. I believe in my own ability to work efficiently and think clearly, with such knowledge and skill as I can secure, and in the ability of progressive agriculturists to serve our own and the public interest in producing and marketing the product of our toil.

  7. Assignment – Due next class • 1. Memorize the third paragraph of the FFA Creed for the following class period. You will recite the paragraph in front of the class. • 2. Answer 3 questions on Creed– HO1 paragraph 3 and hand in at the beginning of the next class.
