Collecting Resources • BlogsBy subscribing to educational blogs, teachers have access to lists of technology tools that can easily and safely be implemented in the classroom. • Websites & LinksWith technology constantly changing, it is important to constantly update the websites and links you collect from in-services and Google searches. Try andset a side a few minutes every morning to Google the topic you are currently teaching to see what is available online.. • OrganizationOnce you find valuable resources it is important to organize them in a manner that makes it easy for you to use them again.

  3. Blogs • Tech Chick Tips • Teachers Teaching Teachers • This Week in Education • The Education Technology Blogs To find blogs that you may be interested in following, use Google Blog search. Simply go to http://www.google.com, select “more in the upper right corner, and then “blogs.”

  13. Create Your Own • Using your current plans for the school year, select a topic of study. (One lacking in a culminating activity may help you the most.) • Send some time online collecting appropriate resources. You may also used non-technology based activities. • Begin streamlining your expectations for each of the activities chosen for each of the multiple intelligences. Make sure you have a way to assess student learning. • Make your Tic-Tac-Toe Board!

Have the students roll the number cube to select the activity they are going to complete

  16. Differentiating Subjects with Technology To engage students in active learning tasks at various stations in order to apply and extend specific skills, content-based knowledge, exploration, or enrichment.

  17. Technology Learning Centers • Technology Learning Centers are best used when you do not have a 1:1 ratio. • These can be created a number of ways and taught through a mini-lesson so that in the future students can work independently.
