  5. Review • Reading Paragraphs 1-4 Now, let’s review paragraphs 1-4. After that, you will hear three questions according to the paragraphs. Listen carefully and prepare for the challenge.

  8. Who was attracted by the Phantom’s singing and thought he was an angel? Christine, a beautiful singer at the Opera.

  9. Why did the Phantom wear a mask? Because the Phantom had a horrible face, he had to wear a mask.

  10. Where did the Phantom live? The Phantom lived on an island in the middle of a lake, underneath the Paris Opera House.

  11. Review II • Reading Paragraphs 5-7 Now, it’s time for paragraphs 5-7. Then again, you will hear three questions related to the paragraphs. Listen carefully and prepare for the answers.

  13. What did the Phantom do when he decided to keep Christine for himself ? He kidnaped her from the stage, in front of the whole audience and took her down to his secret home on the lake.
