FAQ Q: How much is charged per credit for Acadia courses other than the ones listed on the 3rd and 4th year common core courses if student wants to take them as selectives? 选修Acadia其它课是否另外收费？ A: There are no additional costs for fall and winter courses at Acadia, if you are enrolled as a full-time student. This is what most students do. If there is a need to take a spring or summer course, then students can approach Open Acadia (see [2]http://www.openacadia.ca/) to take such courses. Note that students who wish to do co-operative education must pay a co-op fee for each term they are working (see [3]http://co-op.acadiau.ca/) All Acadia tuition and course fees for 2010-11 year can be found at [4]http://www.acadiau.ca/registrar/Current%20Calendar/Fees.pdf. Please see their most recent 2010 rankings at [5]http://oncampus.macleans.ca/education/2010/11/10/our-20th-annual-university-rankings/ Acadia is categorized a Primarily Undergraduate university. We have been 2nd in the country in the last two years. Acadia is also the only university to have placed first in all four categories (best overall, highest quality, most innovative, and leaders of tomorrow) in Maclean's annual reputation survey. In the 20 years that Maclean's has done this survey, Acadia has ranked in the top three 18 times. It is not uncommon for our Computer Science students to have jobs up to 8 months prior to their graduation. This is often because of their co-op work terms, where employers get to see the value of their abilities in advance. To my knowledge, very few of our students have had a problem finding a job in the ICT field. It is very beautiful and quiet university. The environment and atmosphere here is very suitable for study. The computer science program is well respected in Canada. I am one of the computer science students. Wolfville is a small town, but there are several Chinese restaurant, supermarkets and shopping centers around it.
