  3. Napkin Placement Do… Do not… Tuck your napkin in your shirt. • Place your napkin on your lap prior to eating.

  4. Hand Placement Do… Don’t… Place your hands in your lap & make others wonder what you are doing. • Place your hands (not elbows) on the table.

  5. Buttering Bread/ Rolls Do… Don’t… Butter your bread all at once & cram it into your mouth. • Butter individual bites of your bread.

  6. Using Silverware Do… Don’t… Cut meat with a fork or Cut up your meat, then switch your fork to your other hand. • Cut your meat one bite at a time using your silverware as shown below..

  7. Silverware Placement Do… Don’t… Place silverware helter skelter wherever you want. Place silverware appropriately on the plate.
