  8. GOAL: Update control panel architecture to utilize Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for layout. Provide long-term ability for customers to modify CSS for unique customization.   10. GOAL: Provide ability for resellers to change default home page installed into a newly provisioned account. Resellers will be able to provide replacement HTML that will be used as the new “index.html” page on an account. TIME-FRAME: Signature control panel functionality Provided by CArchive = Immediate Provided by the Branding Management server = Q1 2007 CPX control panel functionality = Immediate Provided by CArchive functionality Customized Default Home Page

  11. GOAL: Provide ability for resellers to control the visibility of specific elements within the control panel. Can be used to hide options that should not be surfaced to users. For 3rd Party “Add-on” applications, Verio intends to surface “Add-on Management” functionality so resellers can control what applications are surfaced to end users in the control panel. Resellers/OEMs will have the ability to customize application list and provide their own maintained applications. Gathering requirements from customers for ability to control visibility for others areas of the control panel. TIME-FRAME: Signature and CPX Add-on manager functionality to be completed late Q2 2007 Ability to toggle visibility for other areas of the CP = Q3 2007 Feature “Visibility” Control

  12. GOAL:Provide ability for resellers to seamlessly embed links in the control panel. Non-Verio applications can be merged into the control panel design. Verio intends to surface “External Application Linking” functionality so resellers can add links to their own applications within the control panel framework. TIME-FRAME: Signature control panel functionality = Q3 2007 CPX control panel functionality = Q3 2007 External Application Linking

  13. GOAL: Provide ability for account owners to customize basic elements of their control panel look-and-feel.   14. GOAL: Provide ability for OEM’s and Resellers to have multi-tier branding and OPB functionality for all aspects of hosting operations. Branding Management system currently is multi-tier Limited to reseller branding (see next slide) Account-level branding does not need OPB changes OEM and multi-reseller tiers needs Nimbus changes TIME-FRAME: Unknown. Need additional requirements and research. Multi-Tier Branding

  15. Current Nimbus Partner Hierarchy • Each Partner (Reseller) has own Partner ID in Nimbus • Each Account created under a Partner inherits Partner brand • Each separate brand requires a separate Partner ID
