Our Aims We will seek to: • Enable all pupils and students to achieve their potential as successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens; • Provide a full range of appropriate courses, services and resources; • Foster genuine partnerships within our community; • Promote equality of opportunity and social justice; • Encourage education throughout life..

SCHOOL REVIEW Key strengths • The leadership of the head teacher in promoting an ethos of improvement • The strong, positive ethos of cooperation and positive relationships between staff and young people • The collaborative approach of staff to school improvement • Sustained improvements in aspects of performance from S1-4 • The tracking of progress and support offered to vulnerable young people • The impact of the mentoring programme on improvements in attainment in S4 • The support offered to young people in the Visual Impairment Unit • The work of the Employability Officer in improving the leavers’ destinations • The quality of Pastoral Care and staff commitment to care, welfare and development
