  2. St. Paul and St. Peter Agree! • We are chosen in Christ for a glorious destiny! (Eph. 1:3-14; 1 Peter 1:2; 2:9) • We have been redeemed by the blood of Christ – we are forgiven, justified and sanctified (Eph. 2:8-10; 1 Pet. 1:1-9) • We are part of the global and local church – Christ’s Body and Building, House and Temple! (Eph. 2:19-21; 1 Pet. 2:4-5) • We are Royal Priests – set apart to declare and demonstrate the glory and wisdom of God (Eph. 3:3-10; 1 Pet. 2:10)

  3. Discipleship = Living the Future Now in the Spirit • We are not going back to Eden, but forward to a New Jerusalem! (Rev. 7, 21) • The Holy Spirit empowers our communities for deliverance, forgiveness, healing and reconciliation (Rom. 14-15) • We are God’s building, house, temple = LIVING STONES united as a dwelling for God!

  4. Living Stones • We are one-of-a-kind works of art, fashioned for good works designed by God (Eph. 2:10) • The miracle of the Body of Christ is NOT uniformity, but unity-in-diversity (1 Cor. 12) • Every new member of a local congregation transforms the community by her/his presence!

  5. God’s Work:Through People @ Work! Spiritual Growth Personal Wholeness Life @ Work “And the Word became flesh…” Relational Integrity Vocational Clarity

  6. Prayer Points • Welcoming the transforming work of the Spirit in our hearts and in the life of Cornerstone “gathered” • Welcoming the work of the Spirit at our work, whether at home or school, field or factory, board room or cubicle…Cornerstone “commissioned” • Welcoming an awakeningin Richmond and in the USA, with the honor of partnering the global work of God
