MS-Access: Introduction • Is a Relational Database Management System. • Combines MS Jet Database Engine with a GUI and software development tools. • Member of Microsoft Office suite. • Stores data in its own format based on Access Jet Database Engine. • Can be used to develop application software and simple applications. • Supported by Visual Basic for applications.
