  1. Caring Tips After Hip Replacement Surgery Hip replacement surgery includes removal or replacement of the diseased hip joints with the prosthesis. You know very well, that after each and every type of surgery of treatment, one should give proper care and rehabilitation time to their body. The same rule applies here. You should be very careful about the movements and need to know to care for your new hip joint. It is always a better option to ask your hip replacement doctors in Delhi/NCR and India for better medication's recommendations and exercises. Here are some Do's and Dont's that you need to know for your post-surgical time. 1. After 6-8 weeks of your surgery, you need to be very careful about your hips. These are the basic joints which get used when we sit and stand. Avoid so much using of these joints but also try to move your joints slightly after every few minutes. 2. Recommended exercises are very important to make your new hips stronger. 3. Some adventurous sports should be on the not-to-do list such as downhill ski or football or soccer or basketball or any type of sports which exert direct pressure on hip bones. on the other side, low impact activities such as gardening, swimming, golfing can be done. 4. You must avoid crossing your legs; this will twist your hip muscles as well. 5. Avoid hip flexion greater than 90 degrees or avoid it being in perpendicular stature.

  2. 6. It is better to use some kind of helping tool (crutches or walker) to stand up, sit down and walk around. 7. Try to change your position while standing or sitting. 8. Keep your feet about 6 inches apart. 9. Avoid soft chairs, rocking chairs, stools, or sofas. 10. Avoid bending your femur bone or extra bending bend while sitting or half squatting full squatting. 11. Consult with your hip replacement hospitals in Delhi/NCR and India to know the amount of weight you can take over. 12. Take small steps when you are turning.
