Examples of documentation • Meetings: agenda & list of attendees • Teacher Incentives: be specific about the deliverable • Substitute pay: justify teachers’ absence • Supplies: identify--books, office supplies • Course development: outline, syllabus • Evaluation: summarize completed work, include instruments and results when appropriate

18. Carryover Funds • An amendment is required if the change is $1,000 or 15% of the total category of expenditure, whichever is greater. • Any change greater than 10% must be explained in the budget report. • All budget changes must be explained in progress reports.

May 30 Meeting • Brenda Capobianco and ChellNyquist from Purdue University, Science Learning through Engineering Design (SLED) program—pending approval • Design based methods class for pre-service teachers and PD for in-service teachers • Integration of inquiry and design • Materials will be sent out in advance

21. Summer Institute, July 19-20 • Registrations will be available within the next month. • Four attendees per project • Responses due by 5 pm on Wednesday, May 30 • Available spaces will be given to others at that time
