  3. Who is tested with DRA/EDL? Everyone K-5, Spanish, English

  4. Which languages are tested for bilingual students? • K-1st • Spanish • English if EDL= 6 or greater

  5. Which languages are tested for bilingual students? • 2nd grade • English and Spanish • 3- 5th grade • English • Spanish for students with Spanish LOI/LOT or who took Spanish Reading/Writing TAKS

  6. Which languages are tested for Dual Language Monolingual English students ? • K-1st • English • Spanish If DRA =6 or greater • 2nd Grade • English and Spanish

  7. Who may test students? Certified, RRISD

  8. What about TAG students? May go higher than 1 year beyond grade level to document progress…

  9. How high may we go? 1 year beyond – nonfiction is more difficult Note increase in fluency & comprehension for growth

  16. TPRI - Kindergarten • Administer both SCR-3 and SCR-4, page 14-15. • If D on both screenings, go to COM-EOY, page. 26. • If SD on either screening, go to Warm-Up Activity BPA-1, page 16. • Follow Branching Rules!

  17. TPRI – First Grade • Begin with SCR-4, pg. 33 (TG) • If D on screening, go WR-1, page 43. • If SD on screening, go to PA-1, page 34. • Follow Branching Rules! (No moving down)
