  2. Physical Characteristics • The size of the Sea Lions stomach is a oval shape. • It’s flippers are different shapes. • The head is a circular shape. • It’s nose is a cylinder. • The feet are webbed like duck feet. • It has fur all over its body accept on its flippers and nose.

  3. Habitat • The Sea Lion lives in the Pacific coast,Mexico, British Columbia, and Gala Pages island.

  4. Food • The Sea lion eats Fish,Squid,Octopus,Crabs,Clams and lobsters. • They have cone shaped teeth that are designed for slippery prey. They hold their prey in their powerful jaws. They have to move quickly to catch their prey.

  5. Family facts • Sea Lion pups stay with their Mothers for a long time. • The pup learns how to swim when their only 10 days old.

  6. Enemies • The Enemies of the Sea Lion are Sharks, Man and Killer Whale, • The way they protect itself is by swimming away and blending in with coral or biting with its sharp teeth.

  7. Interesting facts • Some Sea lions can grow to be as big as a car! • Some can swim about 10 miles per hour. • Sea Lions some times catch a fish and let it go and catch it again Sea Lions enjoy this very much.
