  3. Respect • Follow Library Rules • Cooperate with others - Libraries are all about sharing! • Use polite words • Always walk • Treat library books and materials carefully so everyone can enjoy them!

  4. Order in the Library Books are kept in order so a student can find them. Books are kept in their right place, with spines facing out so students can find them. Books are kept standing up to make them easier to locate. Books are handled carefully so many students can enjoy reading them.

  5. Laptops are kept in order because many students use them – they need to last! Laptops are kept neatly and carefully to avoid confusion and accidents. Obey the Acceptable Use Policy

  6. Quiet in the Library • Use indoor voice, keep your conversation at your table • Walk - never run • Wait your turn quietly • Listen so you can learn • Stay quiet so others can learn

  7. Remember • Quietly, Check out your book or books at the computer – beep your name card first and then the barcode on the book. • Return books in the book slot in the circulation desk, quietly. • Do not disturb other students. • At the end of class, quietly, put your work in your folder and put folders in your teacher’s file box. Put away pencils and supplies. • Line up quietly.
