November 2018 LCCU MeetingOct. 2018 Win 10 Update Bug • Windows considers Documents, Pictures, etc. to be “Known Folders” and the system can ask for their address. • When not stored in their original location, this is known as “Known Folder Relocation” or KFR. • For systems with KFR active, the folders in their original location were deleted without checking whether they contained files. This could have happened when changing to storing in OneDrive.

In Outlook mail, “Add a Connected Account”. In Gmail, “Accounts and Import”, select “Add an Account”; also select “Always reply from the default address”.

Use your password manager to help find them all.
