South Baseball / Herald MailPreview Veteran coach Ralph Stottlemyer doesn’t have Leather and Knight to pitch but thinks he still has the makings of being a good team. “We’ll hit the baseball and be better on defense,” said Stottlemyer. “The big question will be pitching, but we have a lot of people to look at.” The offensive leadership will come from All-County First Team third baseman Tyeler Presgraves, returning outfielder Adrian Adams and pitcher/third baseman Cory Shank. Sophomores Tim Hoover and Trevor Haupt and junior Garrick Boward, who could be a big hitter, will be counted on to help. “Last year was one of the nicest groups I’ve ever had and these kids this year are a close-knit group,” said Stotlemyer. www.heraldmail.com
