  13. Uses of Magnets • Magnets are used in magnetic compass. • They are also used in door closers, refrigerators,cranes and pinholders.

  14. Magnetic Material Materials which attract to the magnet are called magnetic materials. Examples- Iron, Cobalt and Nickel are magnetic substances.

  15. Nonmagnetic Material • Material which do not attrac towards the magnet are called nonmagnetic substances. • Examples- • Plastic, rubber, copper and wood are nonmagnetic substances.
