VA’s Enterprise-Wide EE Plan • First of its kind in VA – signed by SECVA 4.17.19 • Organized by the 5 drivers of engagement • Developed by the VA Employee Engagement Council and the VHA Employee Engagement Committee • Currently working on national operating plan
Two Examples of EE Initiatives • All Employee Survey (AES) Action Planning Efforts (VA-wide) • VA has assessed employee workplace perceptions through the AES annually since 2007 • Simplified action planning efforts in 2018 by merging best items of AES with the best items from the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) • Created AES Dashboard product in 2017 to simplify data consumption and to guide action planning Is there a way to embed a dashboard link here to show outside the firewall?
Two Examples of EE Initiatives • 20/20/20 Effort (for the lowest 20% sites on the EE Index from the AES) • Proactive offer of higher level of support for sites with lower EE scores • 2-year commitment to leaders by providing assistance with: • AES data sharing and data use/action planning • Assessing contributing factors to the low EEI score • Leadership coaching • Internal referrals to other NCOD services as deemed appropriate • Support is provided through a combination of virtual and onsite assistance
