M. 2 • Use a ruler to measure to the nearest standard unit (whole, ½ , and ¼ inches, whole feet, whole yards, whole centimeters, and whole meter)

  6. S. Weber Daemen College, 2011 Time Frame • Schedule: Taught within a measurement unit, after fractions. After measurements will be decimals. • Planning: Approximately 2 hours • Implementation: 10 minutes for pre-assessment and one 40 minute Math period to teach. • Assessment: Approximately 5 minutes or less per paper
