  2. The First Boston Big 3 • The First Boston Big 3 started off with Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, and Robert Parish. They led The Boston Celtics to many championships.

  3. NBA FINALS RIVALS • The Boston Celtics have won many championships, but to win those championships, they had to face their finals rivals, The L.A. Lakers.The Boston Celtics met the Lakers 10 times in the finals with the Celtics won 9 of the 10 and 8 straight in a row.

  4. Celtics East Rivals • In the east, it was the Celtics vs. Bulls in the playoffs, the Celtics have beaten the Bulls 10-0 until 2009, where the bulls finally beat the Celtics in a game for the past 23 years.

  5. Celtics-Bulls in 2009 NBA Playoffs • The Celtics played the Bulls in Game 7 of the 2009 NBA PLAYOFFS on May 2, 2009 with the score of 109-99. It was obvious win for the Celtics of course. The bulls never stood a chance after the 2nd quarter. The Celtics beat the bulls without Kevin Garnett and showed them why their the NBA CHAMPIONS.

  7. Rivalry Renewed • In the 2008 nba finals, The Boston Celtics faced the L.A. Lakers and won in 6 games. The Celtics won their 17 championship on the 17th day of June.

  8. The New Boston Big 3 • After a horrible 06-07 season finishing with 24-58, the Celtics made one of the biggest moves ever. The Celtics traded 7 players and got Kevin Garnett, and the Celtics traded 2 more players to get Ray Allen. Now called the New Big 3 with Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen, everyone knew something great was going to happen. Now after a 42 game turn around, the Celtics finished with the best record in the NBA with a 66-16 record and won their 17th championship.

  9. 17 Championships • The Boston Celtics are the only Dynasty in the history of the NBA to have 17 championships.

  10. The City Of Boston Boston is the only city in this new century to win the most titles for their city. The New England Patriots have won 3 Super Bowls. The Boston Red Sox have won 2 World Series. Finally, The Boston Celtics have won 1 NBA championship so far. Hopefully this year in 2009, The Boston Bruins will win The Stanley Cup.
