What will CCRR do for me? • Find care in a Navy certified military home • Find care in a Navy certified civilian home • Find care in a military childcare center • Find care for children with special needs • Offer referrals to convenient civilian child care centers • Provide Parent Education information • NACCRRA when we have nothing else to offer

  4. WAIT LIST:Excess When you apply for childcare you go on this list until we can place your child in a military childcare home or center - based on priority with single, dual-active and active duty with working spouse getting top priority

  5. WAIT LIST:Preference • For parents who have military childcare, but prefer a different type of care • For parents who are using non-military care and prefer military childcare • Priority based on date of registration

  6. CHILD DEVELOPMENTHOME • Care in the home of a military spouse (or civilian) • Age appropriate activities • Navy Certified • Navy Monitored • Navy Inspected • Up to six children • Only 2 under age 2

  7. CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER • Group care • Age appropriate activities • Infants 1:4 max 8 • Pre-tods 1:5 max 10 • Toddlers 1:7 max 14 • Pre-school 1:12 max 24 two teachers per class

  8. SCHOOL AGE CARE • Group Care • Ratio of 1:15 • Two teachers per class • Help with homework • Age appropriate activities

  9. We are unable to offer care for sick children Parents will need a back-up care plan for times their child may be sick.

  10. How long does it take to find a childcare home? In most cases the Child Care and Referral Staff can find care within a few weeks in the Child Development Home Program.

APPLY FOR CARE ON LINE • Go to: www.MWR.navy.mil • Select: Child and Youth Programs • Select: Apply for childcare • Enter sponsor information • Enter child information • Submit for care • Receive confirmation from CNIC number via email – save the number • Receive call back from CCRR to confirm receipt of application within five business days
