  1. The Three Wolves By Daniel Leonard

  2. The Three Wolves • Once upon a time there were three wolves who were old enough to live on their own. They were warned to watch out for the big, bad bear.

  3. The Three Wolves • The first wolf wasn’t smart because he made his house out of grass. The second wolf was a bit smarter than the first one. He made his house out of mud and sticks. The third wolf was the smartest of them all. He made a cabin which was made of bark.

  4. The Three Wolves • One day, the bear was going for a walk and came upon the first wolf’s house. Since it was in his way, the bear chose to blow it down. Luckily, the wolf ran out of an open window and ran to his brother wolf.

  5. The Three Wolves • Well, the same thing happened except the bear chose to kick it straight through the house. So, the two wolves ran to the third wolf’s house.

  6. The Three Wolves • Now, the bear was going to punch straight through this house. Now remember, this one was the smartest of them all. When the bear tried to punch through the house, he got a splinter from the bark in his paw. He began to cry and ran home to his mommy.

  7. The Three Wolves • And the wolves lived happily ever after.
