Hebrews 12:1-3 • Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, • looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. • Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.

  7. Stay Faithful • Don’t give in (Rom. 12:1-2). • Don’t give up (Gal. 6:9). • Don’t go over (1 John 2:15-17). • Don’t draw back (Heb. 10:35-39).

  8. Preserve Your Influence • "You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:13-16). • Season your words (Col. 4:6) • Control your tongue (James 3)

  9. Point Men To Jesus • He is the way (John 14:6) • He saves (Acts 4:12) • He forgives (Eph. 1:7) • He loves the world (John 3:16) • He will judge (John 12:48; 2 Cor. 5:10) • Preach the word (2 Tim. 4:2)

  10. Remember • All fornication is sin (Eph. 5:3) • We were once sinners (1 Cor. 6:9-11) • All sin is against God (Psalm 51:4) • Be kind and tenderhearted (Eph. 4:32) • Speak the truth in love (Eph. 4:15) • All sin can be forgiven (1 Tim. 2:4)
