  6. What can you say about the picture? What do you think is the kind of social or ballroom dance presented in the illustration? Can you imitate the position in the picture? Do you think this kind of social dance develops respect and trust?

  8. Identify the proper rhythm and basic dance steps of the Tango; Perform the basic steps of Tango properly with the music; and Appreciate this social dance as a way of socialization and recreation. Objectives:At the end of 60 minute period, the students should be able to:

  13. You will be divided into (3) groups. Each group will execute the basic Tango steps, the promenade, close position and step out position with partner. You are given 5 minutes to practice.

  15. With the same group, you will perform the basic Tango steps with your own creativity; you can add other dance step variations with your choreography and in time with music.

  17. What is our topic all about? What is Tango? What is the other term for Tango? Where did Tango originate? Why Tango was discriminated before? What are the basic steps of Tango? How do you find Tango as social dance and recreation?
