7. Operating Principle The machine operates with a convective drying system. The cottonseed is dried and cleaned by providing a continuous flow of hot air with a certain temperature, a specific velocity and a retention time, passing it over a thin air permeable belt through hot air distribution slits. The temperature, feeder and retention time is controlled using an electrical control panel board. The operation is continuous and the drying is done efficiently by passing the air through the bed thickness.
