  2. www.VerificationCo.com This site runs on a a co-located server at IntNet.net, running RedHat Linux 6.2 and Apache. Simple GUI server management package is provided through Webmin 8.0. When verified users enter the Client’s Area through the ASP driven login process, they are presented live data on current Verification Company transactions on their account. These transactions are served by the NT4 CTO1 server behind the Verification Company firewall.   3. CTO1 WinNT 4.0 Server This server provides live interaction with the web site via Active Server Pages and IIS 3.0 and automated FTP file transfer via the FileTrak application. It also hosts the VeriTrak Server Module and the VeriTrak Management Console. Click the application name in the list below for more information that system.   4. VeriTrak Server Module This application processes the data files collected by FileTrak. These files are received in the native format of the client system. The VeriTrak application maps the client’s data structure to The Verification Company’s native format and imports the data into the system. It is passed to the VeriTrak Client application used by the verification operators via MS SQL 2000 running on the Windows2K server, VerifServer. During operation, VeriTrak logs all transactions and provides an audit trail for all file transactions via a system of serialized file names and an error correction system established with the client.   5. VeriTrak Client Application This application is used by the verification operators to interact with the VeriTrak database and record the results of verification calls. While only one client is currently established on this system, it is designed to provide for multiple clients, skills-based routing and dynamic script configuration. With the addition of a compatible fax server, it can also provide a means to operate a paperless fax order system. VeriTrak Client Application

Kermit, the Proxy Server Since the firewall appliance used by The Verification Company requires expensive user licenses to provide internet access, a simple Linux server running IP masquerading provides a very cost-effective solution. All normal internet access is provided via this proxy, and the valid IP addresses the company owns can now be used for servers and remote access. Kermit: Linux Proxy Server

  7. FileTrak This application automates file transfers via FTP. Once a site, username, password and file specification are entered, the system will open the FTP location and check for files matching the specification every minute. (This is configurable.) The application then places the file in a folder for collection by VeriTrak. It also transmits the files generated by VeriTrak back to the appropriate client. New clients, sites, files and schedules can easily be added by Verification Company staff.   8. WebData Application This is a Microsoft Access 2000 database that contains local tables updated every minute by VeriTrak from the data in SQL Server. This provides a highly secure means to post data for the company’s clients on the web. New clients, table layouts and data can easily be added and configured by Verification Company staff with very minimal HTML coding and minor manipulation of the MS Access database. VeriTrak Management Console This application provides an overview of system status and current statistics, along with the ability to drill down into the details of file transfers, order status, errors and transmission file reconciliation. MS Windows 2000SQL Server 20000 VerifServer is the Primary Domain Controller for the Verification Company’s home domain and has also been configured to provide DHCP and configuration control for the verification operator workstations.
