  2. History • Heineken beer was founded in 1863 by Gerard Adriaan Heineken. • Expanded to the U.S. in 1880. • After prohibition in 1933 Heineken was one of the most loved imported beers in America.

  3. Today • Heineken has 115 brewing plants in more than 65 countries. • In 2007 they acquired Scottish and Newcastle, making it the second largest brewer based on revenues. • In 2010 Heineken bought out FEMSA expanding them throughout Latin America.
