Workshop 1 • Use the Standard Feedback table for the Reading modules. • Choose one pupil(with the exception of Jake J and Alex B) who is performing below his/her chronological age and complete the grid provided. • Write a short commentary identifying weaknesses and area/s requiring additional support.

  18. Custom Feedback The green line is the pupil’s chronological age at the time of the assessment. The blue square shows the age equivalent scores. The lines above and below are the confidence intervals.

The black diamonds represent a pupil’s age equivalent score at the time of the assessment. The bars above and below the diamonds represent the confidence intervals.   27. Age Comparison Chart Reading The diagonal green line is a reference line of chronological age against age equivalent scores. Box Whisker The middle line in the box and whisker plot is the middle line for this class and the scores for half of this class lie within the box. Two pupils who are ‘well below’ their chronological age. The red line denotes the lower limit of possible scores.
