Can we create field lines and strengths from the equipotentials? How accurate is this? How useful is this?! Now there is a very neat, easy method for working out the potential, and thus through E = -V, where the equipotential and field lines are. Its called the method of finite differences, is based on a simple principle so lets look ate the principle first.
