  3. 2 Corinthians 11:2-3 2 For I feel a divine jealousy for you, since I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ. 3 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

  4. 2 Corinthians 2:4 4 For I wrote to you out of much affliction and anguish of heart and with many tears, not to cause you pain but to let you know the abundant love that I have for you.

How many parents have lost their children because they failed to interpret the signs: “I don’t want your presents, Daddy, I want you”? And how many tithing churchgoers will be lost to the kingdom because the Word of God never reached their hearts: “I will seek not what is yours but you”?"

  16. LOVE DOES NOT DELIGHT IN EVIL • Think of one person who is embracing sin and pray for them. • pray that God purifies your heart first • pray that God shatters their pride • pray that they see the futility of sin • pray for the courage to confront

  17. QUESTIONS OF REFLECTION • How are our relationships? Is there love at the core of our hearts, or are we more concerned about things? • Do we value ourselves more than others, or do we sacrifice and spend ourselves for our fellow man? • Do we love our friends enough to confront them? Do we seek their purity above their happiness?

  18. Ephesians 5:1-2 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
