  2. Document 1 • Socrates was a Greek Philosopher. • “The unexamined life is not worth living” • Examine your life. • You should take a step back and look at your life from the outside and realize where you made mistakes.

  3. Document 2 • Aristotle was a Greek philosopher. • Human can think, and they can reason, they are the most powerful thinkers of all beings

  4. Document 3 • Direct Democracy • Every person should be able to participate in government no matter how rich or poor.

  5. Document 4 • Hippocrates was a Greek physician during the Age of Pericles. • He was known as the “Father of Medicine” • Had a school of medicine which revolutionized medicine in Greece. • He will give helpful treatment to all patients and not give bad treatments.

  6. The Hippocratic Oath is an oath traditionally taken by physicians pertaining to the ethical practice of medicine.

  7. Document 5 • Euclid was a mathematician who wrote the elements. • Impact, his work was used into the 1900s. Euclidian Geometry.

  8. Document 6 • People believed that the Gods were in charge. • They cared about family, and Antigone must burry her dead brother.

  9. Document 7 • Similar architecture seen in the western civilizations

  10. Document 8 • They value athletic competition, fitness, etc. • Rival countries came together to compete against each other.
