Developed A 7 step plan Step 1- Clearly define the key issues and desired outcomes Step 2- Gauge your existing web presence Capital Health has a webpage and within it, Public Health has several pages of content that lists programs and services. There are no analytics available on our existing web presence. Capital Health has a corporate Twitter and Facebook page. Step 3- Conduct a SWOT analysis Strengths Weakness Opportunities Threats Step 4- Determine your online competition Step 5- Align your objectives with the department objective’s Step 6- Understand your target audience Step 7- Choose relevant social media tools • The scope of this prototype will be to explore Healthy Beginnings within 3 platforms; Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. The work includes • Official membership and participation in the social media networking sites (Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest) • Promotion of social media prototype on organization owned pages (Capital Health, IWK, DHW) • Promotion of social media prototype on groups, pages and with organizations where parents and families are connecting on Facebook
