  1. ACE THE SPEAKING MODULE OF IELTS WITH THESE STRATEGIES BE MORE ACTIVE THAN THE EXAMINER Although the Speaking test of IELTS will appoint the examiners to ask you questions, you have to look more interested than them. Listen carefully about what they ask and answer accordingly. They will listen intently to your answer and hence try to engage you in a strong conversation. EXPLAIN IN DETAIL Respond to the question of the initial segment with a single short sentence. At later phases, build on your answer. Use correct grammatical structures to keep your thoughts flowing. For the last 2 sections, you can make a few errors but do not use simple layman language. Use detailed sentences with fine grammar and rich vocabulary. Related trainings are imparted at the Best IELTS coaching center in Bangalore. HAVE A STORY TO TELL While it’s useful to pull from your own experiences in your answer, there’s no rule saying you need to tell the truth. You’re just being asked to tell a story with language. Make something up and use intricate vocabulary and grammar to do it. FOCUS ON VOCABULARY AND NOT MATERIAL INFORMATION No one can have knowledge of all the things in the world.  You can be asked a question about a topic you have little-to-no knowledge about or experience with. Thanks to stories, they can be made around anything. To ace the IELTS Speaking test, a certain topic matters very little. The examiners are more interested in knowing how you hold a conversation with minimum errors in English language. USE FANCY LANGUAGE Try to avoid basic language and use a wide variety of vocabulary keeping repetition at bay. Even if you know everything there is to know about a topic, you won’t achieve a high score if you only use simplistic language in your answer. Credits: www.speakengindia.com
