  2. Welcome back! We had a great bake sale, we sold everything that was donated and made some money! Our tailgate was a success, but we still have a ton of food leftover, so come on out this Saturday at 12:30 p.m. to celebrate our Noles taking down Wake Forest! Here are some photos:

  4. President Regarding our club: • I would like to welcome any one to come to us with suggestions, comments, or concerns. As your officers we rely on your feedback in order to make this a better organization. If you have any concerns, please notify any of the officers, and a meeting will be held to address your concerns. • We are here to have fun, learn, and give back to our community! We can only do that with your help.

  5. President • Who's is interest in having a gaming night at the SLC? • LET'S PWN SOME NOOBS! • I've been in cahoots with the SLC gaming committee to plan a game night: • So far we definitely have: 3 Xbox 360's 1 PS3 2-3 Wii's 2 Gamecubes 2 PS2's

  6. President • Now I'm thinking about Having the following games: Halo: Reach Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Little Big Planet New Super Mario Bro's Wii Sports Wario Wars: Smooth Moves Mario Kart Super Smash Bro's, Brawl and Melee Soul Caliber 3 Time Splitters • Any Suggestion? Comments Concerns?

  7. Vice-President • Chapter T-shirt Design Contest • Designs due by October 4th • Submissions can be given to officers or left in the AMS mailbox in 404 Love • Should be on un-lined 8.5 by 11in paper • Electronic submissions should be at least 300ppi • Include your name and e-mail

Vice-President • FSU vs Wake Forest tailgate (Sept 25th) • 12:30pm in front of the oceanography bldg in partnership with the EOAS department • NWA/AMS Dual Chapter • Will retain officers and meeting style • More opportunities for members • Chapter fees cover both • National membership remains separate

  10. Treasurer • Profits from Bake Sale • Weatherfest in Jacksonville • The date is set: February 26th • Charter Bus • Trivia Night at the Mellow Mushroom • Social and Membership Committee

Secretary • Next Publicity Committee Meeting • Tuesday, Sept 28th at 6:30 at Panera • Yankee Candle/Bake Sale • October 4th-18th for Yankee Candle orders • Table in Love building on Oct 5th and 12th • Sell baked goods and take YC orders • Orders should arrive in time for Thanksgiving • All customer payments are due at time of order and go to North Florida AMS, then we pay Yankee Candle

  12. Science and Outreach • First Committee Meeting • Wednesday Oct 29th at 8:30pm • Bowling Social • Next Saturday (Oct 2nd) • $5 a person, includes shoes • Earth Science Week • Landis and/or Market Wednesday Table • October 10-16th • North Florida Fair (Nov)

  13. Webmaster • Send in your AMS event photos! (Please) • AMS National Meeting • Students can attend for ‘free’ in exchange for a few hours of work at the conference • Must be a national member • There is a link on the chapter website with more information • Deadline for applications is Oct 16th
