  4. Steps for Embedding • Go up to “Insert” • Go to “Movies and Sounds” • Select “Movie from File” • Browse for your downloaded movie… click “OK” • Choose “Automatically” or “When Clicked”

  5. Embedding by Inserting the Movie Player • Scroll all the way down and select “Windows Media Player” • “Insert” • “Object”

  6. Inserting Movie Player… Continued • Click “Custom” and “…” • “Browse” for your selected movie • Uncheck “Auto Start” • Check “Stretch to fit” • Click “OK” • Right click on player • Select “Properties

Important Terms Embedding = placing a document, video, sound, image, etc within the framework of your slide Advantage – looks pretty, you stay within your presentation Disadvantage – lose ability to fast forward and rewind Hyperlinking = linking to a website, video, document or slide that is different or outside of your current presentation Advantage – fast forward/rewind control Disadvantage – opens a different window, you leave your presentation
