Save to your own computer first • Signature is LEA’s option • Print form, obtain original signature, scan form back to your computer • Enter electronic signature • Since ALEAT is a controlled access system, you may submit electronic signatures based on the authority granted by your authorized leaders. Download form

  11. Assurances Funds issued under the ARRA require all LEAs to sign-off on a more detailed set of assurances. No Title I ARRA funds were distributed until the assurances were received ARRA: Assurances, Accountability, and Reporting

  13. Reporting …and reported on separately. The U.S. Office of Management and Budget has provided significant guidance on the required reporting for the ARRA funds.   14. Who is receiving Recovery Act dollars and in what amounts? What projects or activities are being funded with Recovery Act dollars? What is the completion status of such projects or activities and what impact have they had on job creation and retention? Basic ARRA Data

Ultimate destination is http://federalreporting.gov • Some information may go directly • Other information will be sent via the Governor’s Office of Economic Recovery • Quarterly reports beginning October 10, 2009 • Activities from Feb 17 – September 30 • ADE will use data in Grants System, where possible • Supplemental web application to collect remaining data • Jobs status numbers and vendor activities AZ reporting plan

Several significant items must be completed and submitted to the ADE by that date. • ARRA Title I and FY10 NCLB ConApp substantially approvable applications and spreadsheets; Title I Status Report • Private school Affirmation of Consultation forms • NCLB Consolidated Plans – converted to the ALEAT format and LEA Improvement Plans for LEAs so identified • Constitutionally Protected Prayer Certification • ARRA Title I waiver reports • NCLB Indicator 1 and 2 student data submitted into SAIS • HQT data from LEAs identified for LEA Improvement Important Due Date – October 1st

  18. submit a substantially approvable application no later than October 1st. • 34 CFR 76.708 defines this process • The capacity of the LEA to reimburse obligations to these programs incurred prior to the submission of the NCLB ConApp is: subject to approval by ADE. • Title I Status Report – for all schools ARRA Title I Applications and FY10 NCLB ConAppwith Spreadsheets

ARRA Title I Waivers Applications • As part of Title I ARRA Application • Submitted to ED on August 28th • Reporting to ED required by September 30 • LEAs that have requested/been granted waivers • Dollar amount each waiver covers • How the excluded funds were reallocated/spent • Collected as an amendment to ARRA Title I grant • Waiver to offer SES to Year 1 schools ARRA Waivers

  22. NCLB Indicators 1 and 2 – due October 1 • ED will be requesting current year data • US Census data aggregates at LEA level only • Be proactive with returning eligible students without current year paperwork SAIS and Poverty DATA

  23. – various due dates • Deletion of former staff, • Addition of new staff, and • Changes to teacher assignments. • An upgraded system is accessible through the Common Logon • Due dates this year are as follows: • All LEAs identified for improvement – October 1st • All other LEAs under improvement per Section 2141 of Title II-A – October 15th • All remaining LEAs – November 1st HQT - Highly Qualified Teacher Data

  24. Documents – due December 1st All items of evidence of compliance uploaded into ALEAT for your assigned cycle. LEAs that were unable to complete a previous year’s cycle will receive specific directions NCLB 6-Cycle Monitoring
