  2. Bachelor innovation and project management is built around the idea of a research-based teaching in practice • Research-based teaching is the core of the new program • Depth and breadth of academic disciplines through collaboration

  3. Greater width and more choice • Based on experience from the technology-based Bach Loren in technological innovation and entrepreneurship is the new program is designed for a larger audience. • Innovation and project disciplines are strengthened, and it is added to 20 ECTS with elective courses in Technology, Culture or Economic majors. • The elective subjects are chosen from current course portfolio, where students follow courses in conjunction with the mainstream students.

Research-basedteaching in Practice • Teachers as researchers through employees at college as researchers in the program funded through the research • Researchers as teachers by researchers at local research institute as seminar leaders and teachers in courses offered to students • Students as participants in research through the project work related to the topics and particularly Main

Didactics • We want to build on the experience and expertise in project-based learning by the two departments in our college. • A key new element is seminar that we want to cultivate the innovation and project subjects. • A large part of the course is aligned with other programs in our college, both by IR and ØSS. That these should not be perceived as something next to the other topics we plan that the scientific community to guide the students in these topics to place it within an academic innovation and interdisciplinary context.

  15. Need for industrial expertise / experience • Qualifications: One must keep up with current developments in business and industry as part of school curriculum • Experience: One can learn better through a real case from the daily tasks in the industry

Østfold is an industrial state, with relatively many firms (registered 22,000 companies) and many employed in the industry Many of these companies and personnel can help with their real expertise and practical experience to higher education. Many of university subjects, such as "Product Design", "Industrial Marketing", "Risk Management" is based on the systematization and theoretic analysis of cases / tasks of the actual daily tasks / projects from industry. In this setting, there are many companies that is well-suited as learning laboratories and case / task sources university majors

We would like to expand this co-operation with selected companies and anchor it with industry and university an overall and systematic level so that these industrial knowledge and experience could be used better and systematically higher education. • Specifically, theme-based and curriculum-related business / industry guest lectures to be integrated as part of college teaching. • This course will be realized within the existing college subjects that are well suited to such guest lectures.

  18. Local business community can contribute to this business-focused programs at the Bachelor level in the form of guest lecture. • Specifically we are talking about 1-2 hours of theme-based lecture / lecture about the company's own products, often combined with a tour of the company and its products. • On a long term cooperation, it is possible to elaborate on selected lectures / lecture with specific questions to students and possibly a theme-based debate about the company's product and / or product development process and methodology.

What server companies to contribute to this study programs? • Strengthen cooperation with the college through engaged guest lecture • Promotion of your company for students that are possible future candidates for your company • Systematization and quality of your professional skills through these guest lectures / own case product presentations • Get with the academic recognition / review of your own methodology in product development, marketing and production • Establishment of a larger external technological network with other companies involved.
