  5. How to protect pages and files • How to protect pages and files • Wiki pages and files can be limited to the various user groups with protection prefix. In order to protect the page/file, the root user must add the name of the file or page/part of the name to the Prefix Administration list. • Wiki page: FuBio/ • File: FuBio_memo.xls • In addition, root user must create a group (e.g. FuBio Users), which can be linked to the secured page (e.g. FuBio/). If you have only user rights, please contact Inno-W Technical support (info@inno-w.com).

  6. User rights If you have any questions regarding user rights (to FuBio, EffTect, Focus program pages), please contact program manager or Inno-W support: Program managers have rights to give user rights to his/her program pages. Other option is to contact Inno-W support: support@inno-w.com

How to log in • Enter your username • Enger your password • Press Log in! • Password forgotten • New temporary password is available from the the Login screen (E-mail password): • Please fill in the field Username with your user name (for example Teijo Tutkija) and please leave password field empty. Then please press E-mail password button.Temporary password will be delivered into your e-mail.

  9. How to edit text Bold, italic, underscore or strikethrough formatting to the highlighted text

  10. Headings, lists and numbering Headings: Headings (Format the highlighted text, as normal and headings). Listat, numerointi Lists, numbering and indents.

  11. How to create a new page • Create a link to the page on another page, then click on the red link which appears. If you search for a page that doesn't exist (using the search box and “Go” button on the left of the page) then you will be provided with a link to create the new page.First - press the Insert/Edit link. • Write the name of the page and press OK! • Save the page and then click the red link and it will take you to the new page • Simply type your text, click save and the new page will be created. • Remember to use prefix to protect the file: e.g. INNO [[INNO/Meetings]] • You can also create a link to other internet page e.g. http://www.inno-w.com

How to attach/update/protect the file • Set the cursor in the place where you want to insert file and press the document button. • Give the destination filename which will be used in wiki database. Remember to use prefix! e.g. INNO • Give the caption which will be a link name shown in wiki page. (e.g. INNO Minutes of Meeting 26.5.2010.docx) • Give the original source filename in your computer for uploading. (e.g. INNO Minutes of Meeting 26.5.2010) • Press OK! • Remember to Save page!

  13. How to update a file • You can upload the file using Toolbox UPLOAD FILE funtion. • Write destination file name (name needs to be the same as earlier  INNO_Minutes_of_Meeting_26.5.2010.docx ) • Use browse to upload the file. • Press Upload file!

How to attach a image • Press Edit! • Select insert image • Image file name: Write the name of the image (Remember to use file extension e.g. jpg, .gif) • Caption: Write the name of the image • Select special type, center, width, hight • Upload image using browse • Press OK! • Remember to Save page! • Now image is attached.

How to create calendar event • Start creating a calendar event by pressing Add+ • Fill all the information regarding the event • First Title: Name of the event • Date and time (starting date – ending date) • Define event type: e.g. FuBio. • Define is the event Private or Public (Public events can be seen in Forestcluster home page) • Fill all the information into description field (e.g. agenda, address..) • Press Save!

Make a meeting questionnaire 1. • Press ”Make a meeting questionnaire” • Write the title of meeting question into ”Your question” field • Insert the dates (e.g. 23.9 and 24.9) • Select the date and press Add date to list • If you want to delete the date, please press X in front of the date • It’s also possible to insert file, image e.g. • Press Save!

  18. Make a meeting questionnaire 2. • Copy the URL link (http/portal…) • Go to your e-mail and paste the link into new e-mail field • Send the new e-mail including URL link to all people you want to get respond (can they participate or not)

  19. Make a meeting questionnaire 3. • How to answer to meeting questionnaire? • If you get meeting questionnaire by e-mail, please press the URL link: • Now you will see the Meeting questionnaire and you can add your vote. Enter your name and select the date/dates. • Press Submit.

  20. Search & Go functions The quickest way to find information in Forestcluster Wiki is to look it up directly. Above your screen there is a search box with two buttons under it labeled "Go" and "Search". Search - Searching is a powerful tool that let's you find specific pages. There is a search bar located at the upper corner of every screen. It will search the text of all pages on the wiki. However, remember that the search is not case-sensitive, so "MediaWiki", "mediawiki" and "MEDIAWIKI" all give the same result. Go (or Enter) - The function of the Go button is to directly navigate to a page which name is entered in the search field.
