  3. The Benefits Of Using Social Media The world has changed. Today’s corporations, large and small, are expected to communicate with clients all over the world. By discovering the advantages of social media, companies are able to reach and interact to an extensive range of clients and potential customers. Why use social media? • We can chat more informally and instantly • Our business will be able to receive our clientele’s input • We provide assistance to clients • We are able to learn more about our audience

  4. Why Change When The Old Way Has Been Successful? While a company has built its prestigious status without the assistance of social media, these sites have become the new craze. By putting a company’s name, products, and services on these social networking sites it gives them the ability to: • INSTANTLY market their products and cut down on costs • Learn about the different generations and what they can do to grab their attention. • Maximize customer service by Instant Messaging clients, sending them frequent messages containing new information about their company, and answering their questions or concerns via posts. What does a company have to lose??

  5. Social Networking Sites • What are social networking sites? A web-based service that allows individuals to create a profile (public or private) and connect with others instantly. Cisco Blog conducted a study of 100 corporations in 20 different countries, concluding that 75 percent used client-based social media.

  6. Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter Are Huge! With over 200 million members connected to Facebook, 105 million on Twitter, and an exceeding 2 million video views on YouTube per day, social networking sites are the primary technique to converse with clients around the world. Our business will become one step ahead by taking this step to partake in the revolution known as social media.

  7. Tips Needed to Consider For A Successful Business on Social Sites • Opinions Matter: Social networkers are the people spreading word about the company. Their word matters. • Maintain To Gain: Regularly update your social network site to allow customers to always know what is new with the business. Adapt Or Get Lost In The Shuffle: Take the time to research all aspects of the site, incorporate your employees, and be genuine. • Take Action: By not participating in this universal craze, a business runs the risk of being over shadowed by the competition.

  8. Lingo Our Corporation Needs To Become Familiar With.. • Tweet: It all comes down to one simple question: “What are you doing?” • News feed: A list of updates that our followers on Facebook have posted.

  9. Wall: The space on a Facebookpage where we can write information and view others’ activities. • Tag: to label our followers in a photo or status that links to their profile pages.

  10. Block: To disable another business’s or follower’s ability to access our profile.
