  2. Jewish Holidays CHANUKKA Also, we sometimes, dance the hora. Chanukka is in December. We also play dradle, which is where you can win chocolate coins! The candles burning for 8 days was a huge thing! People prayed and prayed for hours. The meaning and story of Chanukka is the celebration of the candle that lasted 8 nights/ days. It was a miracle. Since the candle lasted 8 days and nights, Chanukka is 8 days long. On Chanukka, people give presents(which is very fun for the kids) for 8 whole days!

  3. Jewish Holidays Pesach Pesach is a very fun holiday. Kids do this game where you have to find a piece of matzah. The adults hide it somewhere and all the kids go off and try to find it. If you find it, you get a prize like money, toys, gift cards, etc. The story of the matzah is kind of cool. A woman was making bread and didn’t have enough time to bake it, so she left it on a rock for a long time. • Later on in the day, the dough hardened and became matzah! Matzah is like a big cracker and shaped like a square. People eat different foods in each family, but everyone has matzah. Pesach is a very fun holiday!
