Even then, you must prove yourself in executive development programs and then as assistant buyers or department managers to become buyers

  6. Salary • Salary ranges are from 60k – 143k per year • Plus bonus potential from 10-20 percent of base salary

  7. Locations • A buyer position can take you all over the world, it depends on the size of the company and their needs

  8. Availability • Retailing is becoming a global market therefore the need for buyers continues to increase
