Welcome to Collaboratory Chapel! • The Collaboratory is an organization run by Messiah • students, educators and professionals that enables • students to live out their faith by solving real world • problems through application of your area of study • If you’re interested in getting involved or have any questions, please talk to one of the Group Leaders or the Student Director at the end of the chapel.

  4. CollabWear is HERE!! Come pick up your item at the end of Collab chapel! CollabWear (new and old) will be available to purchase in the coming weeks.

  5. Collab Volleyball Tournament • Wed. April 14th at 7pm in Hitchcock. • Please come with pre-determined teams • 4-6 people • At least one girl • PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED!! • ALL ARE INVITED!!

  6. Assistant Student Director position • Type of work • Recruitment • Organizational direction • Facilitation • Benefits • Learn how to run a non-profit organization • Gain a complete understanding of the Collaboratory • Business training which you will not receive in classes

  7. Assistant Student Director position • 2 yr commitment • Paid Position 7hrs/wk • 1 summer work-study job • (Salary + room and board)

Service Day – Save the Date! • Service Day: April 15, 2010 • Groups work on their projects • Collaboratory provides lunch at noon (ish) • Sign-ups: • RSVP on MAP starting in March 29th • Register with the Agape Center • Go to www.messiah.edu/agape/serviceday, “Register,” “Off Campus Project…,” login with your Messiah ID/password, choose “Reserved” project type, choose your Collaboratory project from the drop down list • Deadline is April 1st • This will count towards your CCC Service Day requirement! • For more information: • Dave at Collaboratory@messiah.edu

  11. Religion & Science Lecture Alleviating Global Poverty Using Technology: How Can I (or you) Possibly Make a Difference? A Free Lecture sponsored by: The Central PA Forum on Religion and Science Featured Speaker: Dr. Walter L. Bradley, Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Baylor University Date: March 26, 2010 @ 7:30pm Location: Frey 110 Chapel credit will be offered!

  12. Haiti Benefit Night Messiah College OMP is sponsoring an event in Harrisburg Broad Street Market to raise awareness and support for Haiti Relief. Come out on March 28th from 3pm – 7pm for an afternoon of food, music, entertainment, speakers, community engaging and discernment for the Haiti crisis.   13. Like food? On Mach 31st in Kline 120 at 7:00pm Mary Beth Lind will be speaking on the topic: Healthy Farms, Food and Families She is a co-author of the MCC Cookbook, “Simply in Season” Alternate chapel credit provided
