  1. Why I Should be a “Big” Laya V Smith

  2. Introduction Hi! My name is Laya and I want to be a Big Sister! I’m going to college to be a teacher, so I need all the experience with kids I can get. kids I can get.

  3. My interests • I love to read and to write. It has always been my aspiration to be novelist. I would love to be able to share this with the next generation. • Nothing is better than the movies! I am very knowledgeable about all kinds of film and TV. My favorite is cartoons. • I am a fountain of useless trivia, especially about history. I love learning and talking about all the weird stuff that has ever happened.

  4. More about me • I am a duck on the water. I used to swim competitively and I have my scuba license. • I am a hopelessly devoted Jazz fan, in spite of all the nay-saying and lies. • I hope to be a mother myself someday and I want the opportunity to be somebody’s mentor. • I also like video-games and can play them pretty well. Some of my favorites are ‘God of War’, ‘Ninja Gaiden’, ‘Fable’ and ‘Silent Hill’

  5. Summary, or Why I want to be a “big” • I remember what it was like to be a kid, and I was a troubled one. I have a lot of great advice, and silly stories, to impart to somebody. • This brain is chalk-full of historical trivia and it is high-time I imparted it to the younger generation. • There is a lot of mentoring to do and I know that I can make some sweet, geeky kid very happy. Not to mention the worlds of good it would do me to have a “Little” to worry about.
