DRILL: • What watercolor techniques can you identify in this artwork? • Get out a watercolor set, water, brush and napkin (from front desk) • Use your sketchbook for these techniques.   4. Supply orders • We need to get the supplies asap. • Bring in your $$$$. • Give back the yellow order form!!!!!! • (michael’s and amazon.com have packs of 8 x 10 canvas. 10-12 of them for around $20) • Ask for canvas for Christmas.

  5. Flat wash A flat wash is one that is a solid color from the top to the bottom or the page; or area in which you need a flat color.

  6. Graded Wash- ie Value

  8. Wet on Wet

  9. Dry Brush

  10. Table Salt

  11. Lifting Wet watercolor with paper towel

  12. Printing with paper towel • You can use a grocery or plastic bag • Other textures.

  13. Splatters(brush- toothbrush) and Drips Marion Bolognesi

  14. With other materials: • Oil pastel underneath • Colored pencil on top. • Ball point pen • Pen & Ink before or after
