Recently, many scientific studies have demonstrated that cigarette smoke has long-term effects on chronic inflammation and autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriasis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
