  8. MARKETING PROGRAM SUGGESTIONS To grow sales • Selling to current customers • Selling to new customers

  9. MARKETING PROGRAM SUGGESTIONS Selling to current customers • Create awareness around backup - Backup to the Future series • Pitch the value of backup/be prepared to counter objections • Offer a retroactive bundle to clients who are not currently in a backup bundle and offer them the same bundled deal, or better, if they act now • Send out quarterly email campaigns, testing offers to targeted demographics • If backup is declined, require client to sign a Declination of Service Addendem that explains that Office 365 Backup and Archiving was offered to them but they declined service, releasing you of liability

  10. 11. OVERCOMING SALES OBJECTIONS

  12. Overcoming sales objections

  13. OVERCOMING OBJECTIONS: covered by native I’m covered by the native backup features found in Office 365 or E3, right? Office 365 doesn’t have a native backup solution. You get an archiving solution included in the cost for an E3 license and above. It’s an expensive SKU and difficult to set up or use. Emails can still be deleted in email archiving unless you put them on litigation hold, so the risk of data loss remains. Dropsuite offers email archiving included with email backup, which is paramount to achieving compliance with your email data. For many companies in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, legal, etc.), email archiving is required by law in the event of an audit, HR inquiry, or lawsuit.

  14. OVERCOMING OBJECTIONS: too expensive Is this product expensive? Dropsuite is not expensive at all. For about the cost of a cup of coffee each month, your Office 365 email files, attachments, tasks and calendars — plus your OneDrive and SharePoint files — can be protected against the threat of ransomware, accidental data loss, or sabotage.

  15. OVERCOMING OBJECTIONS: backup not priority Backup isn’t a high priority product for us right now. What’s a higher priority than protecting your business assets from theft, cyberattacks, accidental deletion and ransomware? It’s no longer a matter of if your company will lose data — it’s just a matter of when. Backing up your data is a business best practice — because threats to company data have never been higher. We’re just trying to safeguard your data in the event your ever need it restored. If we don’t have a way to do this, you may be out of luck. Note: Many Office 365 resellers now require their customers to sign a “declination of backup service” addendum that spells out how backup and archiving was offered to them, but declined, releasing the reseller of liability in the event that the client experiences an unforeseen, future data loss event and their Office 365 data is not recoverable.

  16. OVERCOMING OBJECTIONS: not regulated Our business is not in a regulated industry, so email archiving isn’t required. Dropsuite’s archiving functionality is more than just a compliance tool. For example, advanced search allows us to instantly locate and recover any lost file across the entire Office 365 ecosystem — and time is money. Additionally, Dropsuite’s insights tool that’s included with archiving provides business intelligence on employee email data usage, identifies suspicious email behavior, and allows HR to conduct workplace monitoring and surveillance of email communications.

  17. OVERCOMING OBJECTIONS: who is dropsuite? I’m not familiar with the Dropsuite brand. Dropsuite has been protecting critical business in the cloud since 2011 and is a public company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX:DSE). The company provides data backups for huge global hosting providers, works with international distributors like Ingram Micro and D&H, and supports the backup needs of large IT solution providers. Dropsuite offers military-grade encryption (in transit and at rest) for maximum data protection in the cloud.

  18. OVERCOMING OBJECTIONS: order another time I’ll order this product at another time. Cyberthreats are on the rise. Data breaches and ransomeware attacks are becoming more frequent. Accidentally deletion is the #1 cause of email data loss. And if that were not bad enough, according to Kaspersky Lab, the average cost of a data breach in North America was $117,000 for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). There is no better time to protect your Office 365 data like the present.
