  11. Who or what are you committed to?

  12. Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures. He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor and taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John. Acts 18:22-24

  13. Learning from Apollos • Hear the Word • Read the Word • Live the Word • Tell others about the Word

  14. John 14:25-27- message • The Friend, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send at my request, will make everything plain to you. He will remind you of all the things I have told you. I'm leaving you well and whole. That's my parting gift to you. Peace. I don't leave you the way you're used to being left—feeling abandoned, bereft. So don't be upset. Don't be distraught.

  15. Acts 18:26

  16. Proverbs 27:17 Colossians 3:16 ‘Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another’ ‘As iron sharpens iron,so one person sharpens another’

  17. Acts 18:27-28 When Apollos wanted to go to Achaia, the brothers and sisters encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him. When he arrived, he was a great help to those who by grace had believed. For he vigorously refuted his Jewish opponents in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Messiah.
